The Maxstar 200SD Model provides the basic features that are required for most TIG or Stick welding applications. Auto-Line provides state-of-the-art flexibility by automatically connecting to 120-460 VAC, single- or three- phase power without removing the covers to relink the power source. No longer is there a concern if you have the correct machine for the shop or the job site. Portable in the shop or at the job site - at 37lb the unit is easily moved from location to location. Low OCV Stick is a simple design that reduces open-circuit voltage to 9-14 VDC when power source is not in use. This built-in circuit design eliminates the need for add-on voltage reducers. Inverter-based, DC power source has state-of-the-art operator interface allowing the user extra set-up capabilities in a compact machine. Features more precise control of output parameters than traditional knobs and switches. Programmable HF start parameters allows the operator to independently set HF starting conditions based upon electrode diameter and material thickness for each application. Adaptive Hot Start™ for Stick which automatically increases output amperage at the start of a weld should the start require it and prevents the electrode from sticking and creating an inclusion. And also features the Fan-On-Demand, Wind Tunnel Technology, and LVC Line Voltage Compensation technology from Miller.
