The Maxstar 700 provides the features you need in an advanced DC TIG/Stick inverter and the amperage capacity for even the biggest jobs. Add total AC arc shaping capabilities for the ultimate in control by stepping up to the Dynasty 700! New patented thread lock cable connectors and torch adapter are designed for high-amperage applications and feature1/4-turn locking threads. Auto-Line Power Management Technology Allows for any input voltage hook-up (208–575 V, 1- or 3-phase) with no manual linking, providing convenience in any job setting. Adjustable HF arc starting parameters - start amperage (amps), start time and start polarity (EP/EN). Optimize the arc start based on tungsten electrode diameter, material thickness and shielding gas. Program memory features 4 independent memory levels per process (DC TIG and DC Stick) with last procedure recall to maintain established parameters in each memory. Inverter-based, power source has state-of-the-art operator interface allowing the user maximum set-up capabilities. Features more precise control of output parameters than traditional knobs and switches. Optional Automation interface kit has 28-pin interface to provide key automation controls and functions for plug and play system integration. Low OCV Stick™ reduces open-circuit voltage to 10-15 VDC when power not in use. Fan-On-Demand™ cooling system only operates when needed. HF arc starting provides non-contact arc starting that eliminates tungsten or material contamination. 115 V auxiliary power provides 15 amps of 115 volt power to operate a Coolmate™ coolant system, grinder or other small power tool.
